PROJECT 2011: THE POWER OF THE SWITCH
This project was created to mobilize parishioners of St. Peter to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Barbados Light and Power company by embarking on an energy saving mission. "The Power of the Switch" embraces the unique source known as electricity. It will encourage residents to respect and conserve energy through original, creative and sustainable means. The intentions of the project go further, so as to reveal the TRUE community spirit which like the Barbados Light and Power has fueled the social motor of our parish for many years. It is our goal that "The Power of the Switch" be the vehicle to propel Barbados into its 2nd Century of centralized electricity.
